Campbell Fire/Rescue is a special fire taxing district that encompasses an over 114 square mile area, including the past Alexandria Fire District, Campbell County Fire District #1, and Southern Campbell Fire Districts. The population of the district continues to grow with more housing developments being built every year. The Fire District consists of a mix of commercial, residential, agricultural, and educational facilities, including schools from Pre-K to 12th grade.

​The Fire District has a career staff of 39 personnel and maintains a volunteer staff of over 35 dedicated individuals. On top of this staffing, we host high school student coops and students from multiple fire and EMS classes.

CFR operates out of 5 stations housing 6 advanced life support ambulances, 5 engine companies, 3 ladder companies, 1 heavy rescue, and multiple multi-use vehicles.
